Glasses in usuable condition are cleaned and classified by prescription. Broken frames and those with missing lenses are discarded. Cases are not needed and are not recycled.
Trained Lion volunteers and other organizations hosting optical mission trips to other countries distribute glasses to those in need.
Only new glasses are provided to children and adults in our community.
