Galveston Lions collect used eyeglasses for donation to the Lions Eyeglasses Recycling Center located in Midland, TX. The used eyeglasses are cleaned and classified by prescription. Trained Lions volunteers and other organization hosting optical mission distribute the glasses to those in need. *** Only glasses that are in usable condition are recycled.
